Puppy Playschool

For Dogs from 10-20 Weeks of Age

This program is a four-week course held on Monday evenings from 6.30pm until 7.30pm.
The cost is $150 payable on week 1 via Eftpos or direct deposit.
Following is an agenda for each class incorporating basic training, educational games 
and health and well-being advice. 
Furry Fun is basic training (request and action)

Week 1

  • Settling into a routine. 
  • Pleased to meet you - socialisation.
  • Mouthing and biting 
  • Toilet training made easy. 
  • Dealing with unwanted behaviors.
Furry Fun - Look and come to me!

Week 2

  • Good nutrition=healthy, happy life.
  • Food and toy tolerance exercises.
  • Confidence building exercises. 
  • Canine Puberty
Furry Fun - Walking side by side through life. Sit.

Week 3

  • Why vaccinate?
  • Understanding and preventing parasite infestation.
  • Introduction to unusual items like wheelchairs, skateboards and tunnels.
  • Identification tools and tips.
Furry Fun - Drop and give me 10! Stay.

Week 4

  • Eyes, ears, teeth and nails.
  • Grooming without the stress.
  • Continued education - next level.
  • Graduation exam and presentation.

Yours in Paws Beginners Group Training

For Dogs from 16 Weeks of Age

This program is a four - week course held on Thursday evenings 

from 6:30 until 7:30pm.

Our qualified and experienced trainers can help with

either at our canine care centre.


We host Puppy Playschool classes on Monday evenings 

for pups aged 10 to 20 weeks and 

Beginners Training classes on Thursday evenings for dogs over 20 weeks of age.

Puppy Play school for pups 10 to 20 weeks old.
4 week course held on
Monday evenings from 6.30pm until 7.30pm
with our Puppy Trainer and Veterinary Nurse Jen.		 $150 full course. Payable on week one.
Includes positive reward training,
relevant health information and socialisation games.
Beginners Training for dogs over 16 weeks.
4 week course held on Thursday evenings
with our experienced Trainers Liana and Jacinta
 $150 full course. Payable on week one.
Includes effective communication with your dog,
lead training, socialisation, door/gate control and
one on one help for individual needs.

Liana

Beginners Course Trainer

Liana was a Vet Nurse for 11 years achieving a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing where she found a passion for canine behaviour and training.

She has participated in various canine behaviour and psychology courses and has 14 years practical experience in teaching dog training classes. 

Liana shares her life with many pets including two accredited therapy dogs who have retired due to age. 
Liana also breeds Smithfields and Border Collies.

Jen

Puppy Playschool trainer


Jen is a qualified trainer and has also been working as a Certificate 4 Veterinary nurse for the past 16 years. Jen has a special interest in canine reproduction and puppy care. She had been working at Paul's Veterinary Clinic for the past few years and is now working at the Invermay Vet Clinic. 


Jen thoroughly enjoys her Puppy Playschool training nights and has a wealth of experience and knowledge to pass on to pet owners.
